Why doesn't God do something about all the pain all around us?

It's us. We're the miracle.

You'll hear me say it over and over: We are God's Plan to change the world. We're God's body here on earth.

I understand the complexity of opinions on presidential autopen use.

But I'm more concerned about who is being pardoned and why than I am about how the document was signed.

I miss old Twitter.

The article is behind a paywall, but just based on the headline.... this is the most disgusting "shun" "unshun" "reshun" situation ever.

(Sorry to invoke Dwight Schrute in crisis.)

SNAP is not the reason your taxes are high.

SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.

Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.

People need & deserve assistance

Your taxes fund wars and tax cuts for the ultra rich

Be mad about that

Can you imagine how many Americans could be fed and housed with $230 million?

How many attendees of the White House AI meeting in September donated to the ballroom fund?

A Christian arguing that their tax dollars shouldn't pay for someone else's health care doesn't seem to know Christ very well.

Am I crazy to think it should be easy to print a diy daily planner from a pdf without costing a zillion dollars(or expecting it should be easy to duplicate one page 364 times)?

Either I'm on the wrong track or paying the high price for a custom planner is my only option.

I'm a disgruntled pelican.

Streaming controls access. If I purchase digital media, I want to own the actual file, not just have a "license" to watch it only on a specific platform.
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

The conversation in this morning's book group was so rich, I wish I could share all the gems (but providing context would be lengthy).

But I only asked only one question to facilitate discussion: "Overall thoughts after reading this chapter?"

What a gift to know these people with amazing thoughts.

The world chaos continues and I spent most of today looking for orcas instead of handling responsibilities.

Guess what? I saw orcas AND had time with friends on a beautiful September day by the water.

So now my anxiety management is remembering breaching whales every time I feel deadline panic.

Never do we hear Jesus call for violence, retribution, or revenge.

Instead he modeled self-giving love, even to death on the cross.

My student loan payments just more than tripled, and I'm using every ounce of self-control to refrain from expressing my anger at anyone who voted for this president/administration.

We've been jerked around like pawns, and our friends and family approve.

My heart wants to begin a 3'x4' painting, but my brain knows I need to do homework. But reading about Job feels less joyful than art.....

Life update: going back to school!

Challenge: my time management sucks (as is evidenced by my current presence on social media instead of doing homework).

Need: every time management strategy and procrastination prevention advice that you have.

Am I overreacting to be concerned about the extent of White House redecorating/remodeling? Seems to be pretty extreme for someone who will be leaving in less than four years.

The specific situation itself is incredibly problematic, but the perpetual acceptance of blatant lying is horrifying- not just here but... *gestures broadly*

Research is about to become a consuming necessity the longer this goes on, and it's gonna get harder to determine truth, too.
