Für mich temporäres Aufmerksamkeits-Projekt, bis @arbeiterkammer.at, NGO, staatliche Stelle selber etwas anbietet. Außerdem auf Problematik hinweisen, dass max. 14 Monate ea KBG vor allem Väter vor Probleme stellt mehr zu nehmen (was öffentlich gefordert wird). & #UnbezahlteKarenz kaum gute Infos.

I‘m implementing a #GDPR-compliant #cookie #banner at the moment – and will write a #blogtober post about it – but now I’m curious: which (ideally open-source) solution are you swearing by or is working for you? Of course it should block all requests/cookies before consent is given.

Zu der Debatte um Testspiele zwischen Frauen und Männer-U-Teams: ein Problem ist eben auch, dass nur die negativen Ergebnisse, also krassen Niederlagen erwähnt (und ausgeschlachtet) werden.

In diesem Sinne: Herthas Frauen haben gegen die U15 von TeBe mit 1:0 gewonnen. 1/ #HaHoHe

Vor 50 Jahren haben isländische Frauen das Land kurzzeitig lahmgelegt. Ihr Streik gilt als einer der Auslöser für Islands hohen Grad an Gleichberechtigung. In Österreich nutzen Aktivistinnen das Jubiläum, um auch hier mit einem Frauenstreik auf die bestehende Ungleichheit hinzuweisen:

“Sie haben uns das Patriarchat ins Hirn geschissen”

Am 24. Oktober 1974 hat der Frauenstreik Island verändert. Genau 50 Jahre später gibt es auch einen Frauenstreik in Österreich.

(A full SvelteKit v5 real word website course could definitely help, at least for my Svelte v5 learning journey. uess I'll struggle with "Nuxt vs. SvelteKit" for a while in near future, but I'll keep an open mind and my eyes open)

PS: In general I just thought a great breaking change like v4 > v5, similiar to Vue switching from Options API to Composition API will be supported by twice as many learning resources / tutorials to get new devs and devs using v4 fully on board. & Shared state is imho one of the real world needs.

For Vue, I have platforms like www.vuemastery.com & multiple others, used it for my current job.

For Svelte v5 I basically had docs + community YT videos (also great), but Richs Frontend Masters Course showing an app was still v4. And shared state v5 was complicated.

I'm just a bit disappointed.

That's totally fine, I'm not a v5 hater and this is the price of becoming a mature framework?

But the aspect of simplicity that got me into choosing and promoting Svelte isn't really there for me anymore.

And my believe is, that the docs and tutorials must be better and simpler than Vue & co.

Svelte got my attention a few years back because it made things simple, therefore I believed bind:group is all I need for a search & filter view.

I started to learn v5 and it was just as "complicated" as Vue, Angular or React. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Guess that's a challenge in many JS frameworks and Svelte can't magically solve this.

But I'm cautious by now with nice and shiny single comp examples. Because in real world apps I often would need the state shared. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Took me some hours to realize these issues.
