What if thinking doesn’t begin in the brain, but in the ceaseless labour of our cells? Today’s essay rethinks the question of how we become minds, arguing that cognition begins not in the mind but in the collective processes that keep a body alive @annaciaunica.bsky.social

Nathan Gill, Reform UK’s former leader in Wales has been jailed for ten-and-a-half years for taking bribes to make pro-Russia statements. What does Nigel Farage think about this?

Well, that didn't last long. Wonder why!

Such revelations won't make any difference to the rabid Farage stans, and I doubt many younger voters will even read these accusations - most just 'like' Farage yet have no real idea of what Reform UK stand for.

I've spent a while now trying to understand the Reform UK mindset. Not sure if I ever will. That said, I can't help thinking that many voters who think they align with Reform would be much better off with @greenparty.org.uk
Reform UK voters continue to confuse me. Most would back a wealth tax on the very rich, but the party favours of tax breaks for the rich.

Do Reform UK voters actually know what the party stands for?

Wow👇🏼👇🏼😱 It’s saying something when Epstein said Trump is the worst person he’d ever met, “not one decent cell in his body.. so yes dangerous”

You watch how fast Farage pivots from vigorous defence of his good “friend” Trump to righteous condemnation if it becomes clear he’s toast❗️
"I have met some very bad people....none as bad as trump.

Not one decent cell in his body..so yes - dangerous."

Farage has dropped out of BBC film following BBC row.

Good.

Access journalism is client journalism. The BBC should make a film about Reform whether or not Farage chooses to ‘sit down’ with Laura Kuensberg.

Drives me mad that people talk about Danish immigration policy as a *political* success without bothering to look at the polls.
Aside from the crucial voting system difference, the Social Democrats over this period have haemorrhaged votes to progressive parties and are currently on course for their worst result in 110yrs, while the Green Left are set for their best ever.

The Danish People's Party are currently gaining.
what are the odds that the people in Downing Street briefing this out would also break out in hives at the mere mention of proportional representation?
