So, Netflix' merger with Warner will essentially rebuild cable, right? They will essentially introduce an 'HBO tier'. Tbf, Amazon is already doing that with the channel subscriptions.

I think it’s also true that loneliness among women has historically been treated as an individual problem, while loneliness among men is treated as a societal problem. That, in turn, comes from an assumption that women are supposed to earn the company of others while men are entitled to it.
men’s loneliness gets “more airtime”?

baby I have lived the past three decades of my life witnessing corporate media elevate men’s loneliness into a full-blown balls-to-the-wall CRISIS once every 4-5 years

“more airtime” is hilarious

Five countries are now boycotting Eurovision over Israel's participation. Back in May, we reported that the musical competition censored boos and "Free Palestine!" during Israeli singer Eden Golan's 2024 performance.

A side point, but for a story about online culture, a vindictive ex, sex with a story subject, gamergate is right there as feminist parallel narrative. Why invoke Lewinsky (other than that she has name recognition).

And by now, we know how this works: bomb them into oblivion and then offer a 'peace deal', in which you are meant to give a ridiculous percentage of your resources to the US. Oh, and nothing will ever happen to the war criminals, because... Democrats.
People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

He thinks that because Netflix and HBO are 'woke'. Not really, but Netflix at least produces a diversity report (unless it's illegal now) and HBO - well. I'm not in favour of media monopolies and I'm sure they gave him something, but I don't doubt Obama produced films are an issue.
