WBEZ and Sun-Times reporters also found a map crumpled up on the floor in the entryway of an apartment. It labeled each unit inside the five-floor building as “vacant,” “tenant” or as “firearms.” Some units appeared to be marked as both “tenant” and “firearm.”

The units marked “vacant” on the map had clearly been raided, with doors broken down and items scattered everywhere. Most units marked as “tenant” appeared intact, though not all.

It's unreasonable to kidnap people to take back to your "office" to verify identity.
That's not how this works.
If you think you won't eventually face armed resistance for trampling on people's rights, you've got another thing coming.
And they'll be right to do it, regardless of what any court says.

Kristi Noem even complaining that ICE agents aren't being allowed on private property is inappropriate. We have a 3rd amendment for a reason. We do not owe government employees with gun a space in our homes or businesses when they aren't even paying customers!

To me, it depends.
Spoken, that's what sounds natural to us.
Written in a novel, I'm not picky about the format.

For record keeping, science, computing, etc, I think yyyy-mm-dd is logical and easiest to work with.

I use both; mm-dd-yyyy mostly for signed documents, yyyy-mm-dd for everything else.
