And then suddenly the news cycle changes from the very important Peace in the Middle East to the stupid Donald Trump's hair.

A few messages seen today in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood
A poster on a pole next to a street says:
“ICE YOU ARE NOT INVISIBLE
!RECORD!
!RECORD!
!RECORD!
NAZI RATS LEAVE OUR CITY”
A stack of posters featuring a hammer-wielding figure with the stars of the Chicago wrapped around his torso. It says:
“I PREFER MY ICE CRUSHED. END IMMIGRATION ARRESTS, DEFEND OUR SANCTUARY” A sign in a store window says: “WE DON’T [SERVE is crossed out] FEED ICE OR PIGS! even if you steal this sign” The words “ICE OUT” are written in chalk on a sidewalk.

A bill that will never be paid because the indigent don't have money, so the hospital will have to eat the charge and, because that can't go on forever, close.

It was an honor to talk Saturday at the Sanfilippo Foundation about the Uptown Theatre — and to see the amazing collection at Sanfilippo, starting with the Uptown's chandeliers. There' s so much cool stuff — these pictures are just a tiny sample. Well worth a visit. www.sanfilippofoundation.org

I think the real Larry Ellison may have liked one of my FB comments, even though it wasn't exactly flattering of him. But maybe he thought it was cute. Should I ask him for his phone number? LOL

I appreciate your arguments, but I can't let this Qatar thing go. Don't you feel there's something dirty going on?

But none of those countries gave a president a $5 billion golf resort (or thing of value) on their land that a president would potentially personally get rich off with licensing and branding deals.

If they're having it towed, why not tow it to the glass shop? Or maybe they're going to call one of those Safelite guys to come over?

I love when that happens. Very rare. Congratulations!

I feel like there's so much more we don't know on this Qatar story. Will we ever know?

The Trump administration is REALLY allowing Qatar to build an air base in the US after they did a $5.5 billion golf resort deal with Trump and gave him a jet.

MAGA can take their ‘America First’ flags and wipe their asses with them. He is Trump First, and you are suckers.

The executive in this case is not trustworthy, has a record of putting his own self-interests above the country, uses national security to create chaos. But, Illinois will have to find a way to make those arguments. I hope. Also, there's the matter of the executive likely ignoring the court order.

On the idea of deference to the president, Perry acknowledges that when it comes to national security, "the executive is better suited to evaluate the precise nature of the threat."
