if you're only following me because you hope i might read your book one day, i'm not gonna lie- it probably won't happen.
i feel like litmags are clearing out their inboxes for the holiday season this weekend.

i want to donate the cd to the thrift store but i'd almost feel like it's some kind of crime against the holidays to share this music with others.

i bought a new christmas album and listened to it today and i'm not gonna lie, it sucks.

that said i also got a rejection for a piece i'd withdrawn, and that happens often enough to be probably my biggest pet peeve about litmags. "let us know right away if it's accepted!" ok but like don't reject it months later cause you can't check your email.
November 23, 2025 at 8:38 PM
haha i've now had a piece rejected twice from the same litmag. like they forgot they rejected it and double rejected it.

KYUK is the only public radio station in remote Alaska that regularly broadcasts in the Yugtun language, providing a crucial lifeline to Indigenous communities in the area.

After Congress slashed its budget, the station isn't sure how it'll survive.

The latest from our friends at @revealnews.org:
In rural America, public radio saves lives
In remote Alaska, public radio station KYUK is crucial during natural disasters. Without federal funding, how will it survive?

With ICE and border patrol goons spreading out across the country, I put together a resource guide for buying, printing, and distributing whistles, based on my own experience. Now is the time to whistle up, hope this helps. dansinker.com/posts/202…

I am increasingly of the opinion that people who change menus and look and feel of computer software just so that you know it's a new version should be personally forced to play tech support to my mother for five months.
