Update Now: iOS 26.2 Fixes 20+ Security Vulnerabilities
Apple today released iOS 26.2, iPadOS 26.2, and macOS 26.2, all of which introduce new features, bug fixes, and security improvements. Apple says that the updates address over 20 vulnerabilities, including two bugs that are known to have been actively exploited. There are a pair of WebKit vulnerabilities that could allow maliciously crafted web content to execute code or cause memory corruption. Apple says that the bugs might have been exploited in an attack against targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 26. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 26. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 26. One of the WebKit bugs was fixed with improved memory management, while the other was addressed with improved validation. There are several other vulnerabilities that were fixed too, across apps and services. An App Store bug could allow users to access sensitive payment tokens, processing a malicious image file could lead to memory corruption, photos in the Hidden Album could be viewed without authentication, and passwords could be unintentionally removed when remotely controlling a device with FaceTime. Now that these vulnerabilities have been publicized by Apple, even those that were not exploited before might be taken advantage of now. Apple recommends all users update their devices to iOS 26.2, iPadOS 26.2, and macOS Tahoe 26.2 as soon as possible.Related Roundups: iOS 26, iPadOS 26Related Forum: iOS 26 This article, "Update Now: iOS 26.2 Fixes 20+ Security Vulnerabilities" first appeared on MacRumors.com Discuss this article in our forums

"a man calling himself 'beast' is bribing men and women to participate in unholy games" you would tell that to any arbitrary person in europe for centuries and they would not need any further convincing to say it was the doing of the Adversary

I don’t think any park has ever benefited as much from Daylight Savings Time ending as Epic Universe does.

It’s kind of funny that WDW is celebrating today as the start of the holiday season, but it really already started at MK on Nov. 2-3, at DHS on Nov. 7-8, and won’t start at Epcot or most of the resorts until Thanksgiving week.

So I guess what they really mean is it starts at DAK today?

Wow. This looks awesome. It’s been a while since DHS did something that made me think “I really need to visit DHS” but this fits the bill *and* feels like something that would’ve been right at home in original concept MGM Studios.

Who wants this? Social media is already overrun with thoughtless, pointless, ugly AI slop. Now it's going to proliferate to paid streaming services too? Does Disney really want their brand associated with this?
Bob Iger says Disney+ will soon have AI-generated short form content from users

US Passport digital IDs are now live on iPhone and Apple Watch running 26.1 and I can’t decide whether this is really cool or vaguely dystopian. support.apple.com/en-us/123719...

When you create your Digital ID using your passport in Apple Wallet, you can easily and securely present it at TSA checkpoints, in apps, and online.

Well, if you were curious how things are going on X - the everything app - they are currently forcing everyone with a FIDO key and/or Passkey associated with Twitter dot com to reenroll it with x dot com, but the reenrollment process doesn’t work and forces you into an endless authentication loop.

Not visible to the naked eye, but if you're in the Orlando area right now, take a picture with your phone looking north, and you'll just *barely* be able to see aurora.
