As women we are policed for wearing jeans in India or niqabs and sarees in in the west. People need to leave women’s clothes and women alone. This constant burdening of women anywhere to reject or assimilate to protect cultural or patriarchal insecurities is repulsive.

There’s something magical about a type walk indiastreetlettering.com/type-walks/. I love seeing folks who were curious about typography end our stroll with an appreciation of letterforms grounded in cultural history. I really do think Ezra Klein needs to be held to account for why he gets to keep his columnist job, as a white man, for saying CK was "practicing politics the right way" while Karen Attiah, a Black woman, loses her columnist job for quoting what CK said about Black women.
