You don't murder people for using the word "kidnapper" (which, I'll add, is an accurate description of grabbing people and locking them up without due process.)

If you do, you're a fascist.
Bovino: "When politicians, community leaders, & some journalists engage in that heated rhetoric we keep talking about, when they make the choice to vilify law enforcement calling law enforcement 'Gestapo' or using the term 'kidnapping,' that is a choice & there are actions & consequences."

Californians contribute more in federal taxes than we receive back in federal spending. But now the Trump Administration is considering cutting off even more funding because he disagrees with the politics of our state. Not only are these actions illegal, but they are also deeply un-American.

People are kidnapping preschoolers and macing fully restrained protesters because they like the power to make others suffer, and I need us all to burn into our memories what they’re doing now because they’re definitely going to be asking for grace and forgiveness in the not too distant future.

It’s notable that the president can go on TV and be a total gutter racist, and somehow this isn’t news in the slightest. Says a lot about the sickness of American society right now.
Trump: "They're paid agitators and insurrectionists. Nobody talks about the fact that $19 billion at a minimum is missing in Minnesota, given to a large degree by Somalians. They've taken it. Somalians. A lot of very low IQ people."

In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

One more thing about the Machado/Peace Prize thing: Imagine if he'd just had the tiny modicum of grace it would have taken to say no. He'd still get to trumpet how the winner wanted him to have the prize, but he could have been the bigger person and granted her respect in return! But he couldn't!

I have become a bit cynical about subscription services in my old age, and am always evaluating whether they are worth the monthly cost.

That is not the case with the Criterion Channel. It’s an ongoing source of filmmaking joy and I’m always happy to pay the annual subscription cost!
❄️❤️ CRITERION CHANNEL WINTER SALE ❄️❤️ Now through February 2, save 20% on new annual Criterion Channel subscriptions — that’s less than $7 a month for a year of great cinema! Sign up with promo code NEWYEAR26 today at criterionchannel.com!

A great way to settle this would be to have everyone make their case and present their evidence in a courtroom. To, like, you know, decide whether this guy is a murderer and if he should be locked up for the rest of his life.
Whenever I am bleeding internally after being hit by a car I keep filming on my cell
phone while briskly walking away from the scene without waiting for medical attention. What about you guys?
BREAKING: The ICE agent who fatally shot Renee Good last week in Minneapolis, Jonathan Ross, suffered internal bleeding to the torso following the incident, according to two U.S. officials briefed on his medical condition.
