Get ready for the unmade 1994 Godzilla movie AND the unmade sequel to the 1998 Godzilla film to both hit theaters, right before the next Cloverfield movie

Basically it's nothing but giant monster movies from now on
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Had to get in on that good Dispatch fan art train; here's a link to a time lapse of my drawing of Malevola.

As a fan of nearly all varieties of tortilla chip, I say stock your pantry with as many kinds as you humanly can.
I think we have a tortilla chip problem.

Only four people live in this house. Do each of us seriously have a favorite to the exclusion of all others?!?!

Most photos I post of my cat, Kong, on here, do not capture the day to day high intensity psychotic energy that he actually has, but last night I got lucky and snapped this one as he was trying to eat my phone, the hands holding it, and probably on up to the elbow.
I love him more than anything.

I know hating on Funko Pops is everyone's favorite pastime, but I don't care, this one is great

I have recently discovered that people consider Train to be terrible so I guess anything by them, take your pick (there's a couple songs of theirs that I find to be catchy).
In honor of me listening to "Blurry" by Puddle of Mudd several times, what's a song you love that isn't very good by a band/group/artist that isn't very good either

I am going to put out SUCH TRASH after my current book is finished

The next thing you make will be better than what you’re making right now. That’s just how this works. Quit chasing perfection and focus on getting done.

I dreamt that they made a Frasier movie, only it wasn't funny at all and they'd given him OCD because his home had been broken into and ransacked, and all his life was destroyed.
Glad I woke up before it ended with him hanging himself or something, geez.

Finally finished Dispatch. I really enjoyed it and hope we get a second season, even if I didn't feel like the landing was stuck 100%.

(Also, Blonde Blazer? Invisigal? I'm team *Malevola.*)

I know some people love graphics programs where you can "detach" certain menu shortcuts and buttons and rearrange them around the frame of the workspace however you like them, but as someone who sometimes clicks just a little too long and accidentally drags them they are MY HELL.

I work digitally and this is how I do it. Rough page sketches with the word balloons already on the page. Consequently it is *very rare* that I have to squeeze in a word balloon, because I planned ahead for it.
My most strongly held comics opinion (I hesitate to say "opinion," because it's a fact): lettering should be the first finished thing done, not the last. Done after (or along with) roughs and finalized before pencils. Pencils and inking should be done AROUND the lettering.

... Interesting.

Might be useful to any of my followers who are more full-time cartoonists than I.

On this day 55 years ago, blubber went boom at the Oregon Coast.

That's when officials made the legendary decision to blow up a dead whale.

Here's a look back at the explosive piece of Oregon lore with a 2020 story by OPB's Tiffany Camhi written ahead of the whale of a tale's 50th anniversary.
‘It was like a blubber snowstorm’: Why Oregon blew up a whale in 1970
The exploding whale is a piece of Oregon lore that just won’t go away. It’s one of those real-life stories that just sounds too strange to be real.

Sometimes I really love those heavily simplified Lego sets they have out there. Check out Santa on this thing. Look what a demented little goblin he is.
