To this point that a lot of people seem to think of the movies more than the books: twice this month, I’ve had somebody say to me that Deathly Hollows, the book, not the movie, was two parts.
i think a lot of the reason people remember HP fondly is because of the movies rather than the books

My Harry Potter take: books 1-3 are the best, because they were written before J.K. Rowling was too big, and she still had to listen to an editor. Every book since then has become increasingly bloated and nonsensical.

I think we need to talk about Fantastic Beasts more often. Because it’s so funny to me that they tried to make a whole-ass prequel series to Harry Potter, and it was so bad that they unceremoniously abandoned it and pivoted to being like “let’s just endlessly remake the books.”
Hasbro and Warner Bros. Discovery have signed a multi-year deal starting in 2027 to produce Harry Potter film and television series dolls, role play, action figures, collectibles, interactive plush, board games, and more to be revealed later this year - bwnews.pr/45UKdKL
