Carney is in trouble. The Alberta MOU is just sinking in with party members, my timeline and messages are full of bitterly angry people emailing their Liberal MPs, cancelling memberships, pulling donations.

Read it and weep: This pipeline agreement is a document of betrayal
How to describe the laundry list of climate-killing gifts to Alberta that the MOU spells out? The depth of the betrayal goes beyond words. I felt ill as I read it. It’s not just the hard-won ground lo...

I actually think @maxfawcett.bsky.social 's take on the Carney/Smith pipeline deal completely misses the mark. Our PM simply isn't good at politics - he went 'Elbows Up' on Trump, then killed counter tariffs, now selling 3 things that should never be built - nuclear, dilbit pipes and AI

When 8 Dem senators, and now 6 Dem in congress betray the very people begging them to stand firm and hold the GOP to account, and they were the ones getting hurt with no salaries or SNAP, you know the US democratic fallacy has finally failed - it's done, over - failed state

Also Dems: tonight betray the base, end the shutdown with absolutely no concessions, total surrender
