CPTSD is like someone in your ear, 24/7, listing all the ways you suck, & anyone who says you don't suck doesn't "really" know you, & you may as well not try to not suck, because you just SUCK so much.

And they don't shut up & they don't get tired & they don't stray off message.

Outside of Chicago, on the grounds of a former armory, decades ago an alliance of various orgs began restoring the prairie, and at Midewin Tallgrass Prairie they imported bison to roam the prairie once more. I love to visit my very large bi sons 💚🦬

Have you ever lost sleep because you were worried about doing a good job? I did many times over my 30-year teaching career. Tim Kaine SHOULD lose sleep over the deal he's making!
So mad I could spit!
Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

The 'lady' in 'ladybugs' refers to the Virgin Mary.

First of all, there are over 5,000 varieties of ladybugs.

However, the first type of these beetles to be called a 'ladybug' had 7 spots which were thought to symbolize the 7 sorrows she suffered.

What a great article. I was saying last night that Metal has always been pretty inclusive, it's a truly outsider genre. Just ignore that frat rock period that nearly destroyed it. It's always been a home for the disaffected, & accepting of people's differences.
Read it and your day will get better. www.hcn.org/issues/57-11...
