ryan is right. people HATE hearing this. but it is just a matter of simple incentives. if you want a more representative legislature — and if you want a legislature more resistant to corruption — then you need to jack up the salaries. serving as mayor of NYC should net you a cool 500K *at least*

I've been scratching my head for a few days trying to understand what was up with a group of people i encountered on this app who were even more stupid and belligerent than the average poster and it just dawned on me that they were british

Lately I've been itching to make zines again. But i just don't know what to make them about. I like all the editing and the type setting and the designing, actually coming up with content is such a chore lol. probably the opposite of a reason to make a zine.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

I know this has become a moral issue for a lot of people and I get why, especially if you believe journalism is important.

with that said, I will simply close the tab if you insist I sign up to read a post on your website. I am not even sorry about it
