The whole story is inspired by Celtic folklore and especially the Triquetra, but Atgéinos is very loosely based on the Qilin which my own changes and additions to make it fit the themes more(like destruction of innocence and rebirth). The story is FULL of monsters, all mainly my original creations.

Yes! It's called Yuhlbeist Atgéinos, the monster of grief and rebirth. Originally, its hair is straight and wispy and white with a bluish shimmer, but when it consumed Anrai it took on his wavy, red hair. They actually assumed Anrai had died until they saw the beast finally and went "....wait..."

I think they're in vastly different times, but since i shared a witch too; I think Anrai would be shy but would love to study the spellbook, discuss magic and learn about Cassie's heritage. He grows up in a time where witches are rare, so its hard to find someone who can understand magic!

My modern OCs won't mesh well with others fanatsy OCs, so i'm sharing Anrai instead c:

Anrai is the son of a powerful witch. He grew up in horrible conditions that have made him very recluse/submissive. Anrai has a passion for learning, animals and music though, and he's as sweet as can be!
