No pets and hardwood, it’s only since he is sleeping in our office when back and that is in the basement. Been running the air purifier now all day. I will look into MERV filters compared to what came with the new system. Thank you!

The ducts are as old as the house, late 60s probably have never been cleaned. We just got a new HVAC system so filters are new. But maybe I should get better ones. My oldest gets like an allergic reaction, home from college every time. Trying to figure out what it could be.
