So...a couple of times a year somebody can cull the Internet and write an article about you that recycles every other article. That's a reason to try to create a new story. But, on the other hand, by not offering new news the old seems just ho-hum.

Bluesky needs SA style countdowns for temp bans
like if people knew Kenzidor would be back in 3 days everyone would have been like "yeah makes sense to me" instead of whatever has been going on for 2 days

it is kind of funny in a nihilist way that the Senate did not care about preserving the FDA, DOD, FBI, HHS, etc but does care about preserving an arcane rule that prevents them from doing things

After learning that Amazon was trying to "compete" with Steam: I'm a pretty well-read person and I game a fair amount and I had literally 0 clue this was even happening and I have no idea how you'd begin to compete with my 18 year-old steam account. Short of porting my *entire* library over for free
The thing about Steam is that while it is pretty bad for game developers in many ways, it is generally a very good user experience for players, good value, *and* it has massive incumbency. I don't know that you could try to "beat" Steam and expect that to be a profitable endeavor.
