SUPERMAN NATION HOW ARE WE FEELING!!!!

I watched on Friday and LOVED it

So full of joy and hope. A really important message in a tough time. EXACTLY what Superman should be.

Corenswet, Hoult & Brosnahan are perfectly casted.

I can't wait to see what's next in Gunn's DCU.

WE ARE SO BACK 🦸‍♀️

Tillis also was going to vote against Hegseth… until he didn’t. He has no scruples about saying one thing then reversing course.

NCGOP has filed a Don’t Say Gay bill 2.0 🙄

In addition to increased restrictions on content relating to “gender identity, sexual activity, or sexuality” in grades K-12, it also seriously contradicts itself.

Right! Most of those reservations are on land that they would love to turn over to private businesses for drilling and mining.

Agreed. Still, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with a long list and minimize the dangers by overlooking the particulars. One could look at the list and say “wow, that’s crazy” and miss considering the individuals in their life that fall under each single item.

Very good and fair point. My point, while meant to poke fun at the creators of the list, does unintentionally diminish the danger to women as a whole. My apologies!

“Men who have sex with men” is in the list, but “women who have sex with women is not”. Guess we know what their adult time habits include.

And follow it up with a press conference live on YouTube or other platforms that people can turn to. Force the press to deal with that.

Terms like “woke”, “DEI”, and “liberal” have been co-opted and defined by the right so much that they appear as bad words. They should be reclaimed for their true meaning, just as the US flag should be taken back and not just used for a false patriotism.
The acceleration of anti-trans attacks isn't what scares me most at the moment. What scares me most are non-trans people who believe the GOP will stop at the military ban and passports and gender-affirming care for youth.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Those are brownshirts and concentration camps and the people writing these stories need to start calling them what they are.
A group of prominent military contractors, including former Blackwater CEO Erik Prince, has pitched the Trump White House on a proposal to carry out mass deportations through a network of “processing camps” on military bases and a “small army” of private citizens empowered to make arrests.
Documents reveal how military contractors want to take over mass deportations
The group, led by Blackwater veteran Erik Prince, has close Trump ties.

The one good thing about Trump 2.0 is that more people are finding out all of the good things that government is doing rather than just accepting the narrative that government does nothing for you.

Not only did the people watch, many cheered. And anyone who cheered then wonders what they would have done in Nazi Germany, they have their answer.

False stories that can be proven fake should not be spread. But when the story can be verified, labeling it as false only muddies the waters between what is real and fiction.

Here’s why this is important:
1- The info is not false.
2- By rating it as such, whoever rated it (and FB systems) cause the credibility of individuals to be questioned, and therefore disregarded.

The fact check was a foreign company in a foreign language. I disputed it and within minutes, they said the rating would not change.

I shared a post on a different site recently that about the D0GE work and a cancelled contract for Reuters. The post I shared had verifiable facts and I had the same facts from outside reliable sources. This morning FB “added context” from an “independent fact checker” that said it was false.
