Also I’m very annoyed with myself. For someone who is normally quite organised I missed an 11am appointment thinking it was for 12pm. Feel so bad. The girl hasn’t got back to me yet. 🫣☹️

I had to do a double take this morning when I walked past a man wearing a hallowe’en pumpkin hoodie - orange with green neck. It IS January, right?!

Went to weigh in after 4w of eating well, gym and Pilates. Lost over a stone (what ?!) and my blood pressure is now top of normal range, not Stage 1 hypertension. That’s crazy. A few more stone to go tho! 😆💪🏻
Also, met my friend Button on my walk back up the hill - she always makes me smile! 😊

Treated myself to some new trainers today - updated my old Brooks GTS 20s (falling apart) to these GTS 25s. The others served me well - even doing Couch to 5k in lockdown before my knee osteoarthritis was diagnosed. V helpful gait analysis + advice - highly recommend doing. Payday tomorrow phew!

Pilates was hard this morning. Almost forgot where my legs are. Only week 3 so need to ‘be kind to myself’* Apparently you notice a difference from week 10!!!

Out to church shortly. Instead of our weekly Creative Team get-together (singers, musicians, production etc.) we’re hosting kids with additional needs each Wed eve, helping them sing or play instruments. Then they’ll perform at Night to Shine (a prom style event where are they’ll be spoilt rotten!)
