Frequently confusing irreverent with irrelevant. Also ethical investment (not allowed to call it sustainable), employee ownership, running and general sports burble
Posts about the Ford engineer's petrol cap indicator reminds me of the glorious invention of extra long pump hoses. And yet so many people queue needlessly because they won't use them....

This is how it's done. 👏
Four generations of my family have served our country. Service is in my blood. The President wouldn’t know anything about that.

As opposed to the 60,000 that gathered in a different Glasgow park on Saturday to watch Wilfried Nancy get kicked in the balls
More than 100 people gathered in a Glasgow park to watch someone get kicked in the balls
More than 100 people gather in Glasgow to watch 'full force kick in the balls'

Lively driving experience today. Scoosh froze driving through the Borders so had to stop at Abington services to clean windscreen before joining motorway. As were lots of others. We got 1 of 5 remaining scoosh bottles, was starting to freeze inside 🥶. Would've been pretty hairy otherwise!

It's a belter. Best I can do with a phone - Jupiter before it, the peak of Arthur's Seat below and Edinburgh castle to the bottom left

The diary organiser for King Charles and Prince William should be asking for a big raise, because they're going to be very busy organising meetings and tours everywhere but America this year

Fair to say that Alison Limerick still has it, what a voice (Graham Norton's NYE show)

Tough to choose between SPOTY 3 finalists. Pressed, I'd rank them:

3 - Red Roses running WRWC
2 - European Ryder Cup victory
1 - Lionesses defending their Euros trophy. For sheer drama, emotion and jubilation, it wins for me

This is mine, simply because it's fan created and the work put into it must've been immense (and I love the result). 16 years ago she won the Above & Beyond competition to be the track's official video:

The other week a lady stopped me in Lidl and asked if I could reach the last jar of something at the back of the top shelf for her. I could and I did, then we went our separate ways.

My origin story. Could've gone for 'The Neverending Story' and the joy of imagination it triggered, but the obsession with sports minutiae and history this triggered wins it. (And was followed by the Benson & Hedges 1985 Cricket Yearbook)

The BBC Sport app is a shambles. There's one men's rugby union game on today and it's not linked at all on any of the stories. Yet I can read months old articles. So much for the big "PREM" rebrand when the national broadcaster's sports editor doesn't think it's worthy of live coverage
