"Another historical lesson: the day before you win, you don't know you're about to win.... you have to keep doing it." We mustn't accept the darkness of this timeline––– a better world is possible when we become FINISHED with this Imperial corruption–– Forever–– for all of us stuck to this globe.
In 2026, we can’t take the easy path by giving in to despair. We have to keep doing something to be ready for the moment the right combination of events align and we can see a better future.

I hear you #JackSmith When defendants have their backs up against the proverbial wall, they might dispute anything & of course, lie

I'm losing track of how many countries a man livid he wasn't given the Nobel Peace Prize has illegally bombed.

Iran. Venezuela. Nigeria. Afghanistan. Iraq. Libya. Pakistan. Somalia. Syria. Yemen.

Not to mention threatening to annex Greenland and Canada and invade Panama.

So fmr Honduran President Hernandez voluntarily surrendered, and was duly extradited, tried and convicted for drug trafficking, and Trump pardoned him 6w ago.

And this morning, Trump illegally attacks Venezuela and abducts its president and his wife purportedly to try them for drug trafficking.

Jack Smith, in his opening statement to House Judiciary, says:

"Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power."

A Trump tell that he's connected to the scheme: "that's too bad" or "I wish them well."

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

They tell so many lies they actually start believing them.
Take a moment to listen
This is the Republican Mantra

All they do is LIE
THIS is also about Epstein
O'Reilly caught in lies and watch his face

Faux news has done this for years
And the gullible believe their lies
LIES, CORRUPTION, AND GREED

A 14-word replacement for most op-eds, substacks, etc about this moment.

The GOP could stop ALL of this, right now—if a handful of Sens or Reps could step outside the cult.

It would take four in the Senate, four (maybe five) in the House, to change history.

Until then, they're all to blame.

He is enormously embarrassing
Trump: "They cheated on a commercial. Ronald Reagan loved tariffs and they said he didn't. And I guess it was AI or something. They cheated badly. Canada got caught cheating on a commercial. Can you believe it?"

Some things never change...
George Wallace on the 1963 civil rights March on Washington: It’s all a bunch of communists trying to destroy America.

Mike Johnson on the 2025 No Kings rally: It’s all a bunch of marxists/socialists/Antifa trying to destroy America.

The GOP playbook: Same as it ever was

Buried inside the Big Beautiful Bill is a time bomb...one that detonates the balance of power. You weren’t supposed to read this clause. That’s why I did.

A single section hidden deep in the bill quietly neuters the courts. It’s that serious.🔥👇

Our authoritarianism is run on clichés borrowed from the Eastern Europe of twenty years ago. Paid protestors, disloyal cities, evil Soros, vast conspiracies — it was all tiresome then and there, and now it’s pathetic.
Trump: "They're, like, insurrectionists, they're terrible people. But you really wonder why. Why are they doing it? What are they gaining? Other than they're obviously paid. They're paid a lot of money."
