IMHO Mamdani's campaign in the city lost some momentum over the summer, even as he became a bona fide national figure. That local momentum hasn't been fully recaptured since.

He's still the favorite, and by a lot. But I wouldn't be surprised if the polls get even tighter.

With Eric Adams out of the race, Cuomo's gaining ground, pulling 33% support from NYC voters, per a new Quinnipiac poll. That compares to the 23% he pulled last month when Adams was still in.

Regardless, Cuomo remains well behind Mamdani, who's got 46% support, per the new poll.
