-so many yaku yet no real-world use found for anything more than tanyao
-wanted to go for bigger hands anyway? we had a tool for that: it was called "guessing"
-"i should build junchan, sanshoku, and iipeiko, and call riichi so i have a chance to get ura dora" -statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged
