Jamie rarely turns down a gig, he has bills to pay!
Think I’ll give it a miss 🤨
Off to see the clarinetist Adrian Cox playing in Bollington tonight, Jamie’s idea, but he now has a paying gig he couldn’t turn down!

They’ll be invading Venezuela next.
We had similar a few years ago, a woman telling us it was Satanic, handed the boys (aged about 5-7) some Godly pamphlets, they were not impressed 😂
Once again I am promoting another Jamie gig. This is with his band that played at his Final Recital, so we know they are really, really, good!
Saturday 1st November. 08:45
A wet morning, temperatures 10-12° and dropping to 6° tonight.
Feels like 5° now due to the wind.
Knees are in a bad way this morning, even more so than the hip. This arthritis is no fun.
A good day was had, I’m now knackered 😴
That’s it done, 3 years of studying Jazz Performance at Leeds Conservatoire, and graduated today, with a 1st Class Honours.
Proud Dad.
Not my usual bedroom window view, but we’re in Leeds ready for Jamie’s graduation.
That was a very quick three years!!!
Please, don't put forward these ideas!!!
I just know Jamie would be up for it 😬
I think we are in a conference hall rather than an exhibition space, the thought of hundreds of performing artists being let loose in a hall full of weapons may lead into a rather dangerous performance 😂
How many more distractions from the Epstein files can he possibly do?
We are all still waiting...
Thursday 30th October 08:00.
A bright but cool morning, 6-12°c
Off to Leeds later, ready for Jamies graduation tomorrow, which is at The Leeds Armouries. Sam will be meeting us there, it'll be good to be with them both again.
Just the one bus, and two trains to negotiate!
It is a rather pleasant afternoon. Cool at 12°
I remember getting the album and inviting a group of pals to come round and listen to it, good fun.
Saw them in 1977 at Bingley Hall, Stafford, where they played Animals, and WYWH.
Then again at Earls Court playing The Wall, 1980
Such a long time ago...
It's a sign, I tell you, a sign...

🫣
This is just ridiculous.
Phone now sends callers not in my contacts direct to voicemail.
What size is the layout?
