Now’s the time to buy an #electriccar if you need a new vehicle—especially before federal tax credits expire later this month. My latest on my own #EV buying experience at NatGeo.

If you're thinking of buying an #electricvehicle, now is the time. Fed tax credits (and matching company rebates for those not qualifying) end Sept 30, and the cars are better than ever. I wrote about my experience buying one at NatGeo

And now a second Florida Atlantic University professor has been put on leave for commenting on Charlie Kirk's death--not inciting violence, just commenting. The day before this happened to @proftinkerbell.bsky.social, for highlighting Kirk's own past words. Sad, dangerous times in Florida.

One of the smartest takes I've read on the #Epstein #birthdaybook. "Sanitizing this document would be wrong, so I’ll be blunt: The Epstein birthday book is full of contributions from wealthy and powerful people who, in some cases, allude winkingly to Epstein’s predatory lifestyle."
You Really Need to See Epstein’s Birthday Book for Yourself
This time, the conspiracy theorists were right.

A major government study about alcohol and its health harms won’t be released publicly. Apparently making America healthy doesn’t include alerting us that
even moderate drinking (one or two drinks per day, depending on gender) increases the risk of cancer and liver disease.

People often ask me how many revisions it takes before a novel is finished. Let's just say I'm on my fifth revise of my upcoming mindfulness/yoga women's novel, Yoga Bind, and there will be at least one more. 🙃

Will psychedelics ever live up to their hype?
The mind-expanding drugs may help heal many mental health conditions. But studies haven’t actually proved that yet.
