Had I even had a clue I was neurodivergent while I was still working, it could have saved me a LOT of mental anguish. Employers are going to have to get on board with accommodations more than they are now. ND folks can contribute a different, valuable PoV.

Yes, the Chinese are intensely focussed on their own goals, to be achieved by any means, legally, or by using state-sponsored hackers, infiltrating networks, etc.

Sovereignty is not difficult to understand. Our reaction is based on the threat of annexation with tariffs as one of the tools the orange menace is using to try to weaken us. Much of our boycott is grassroots, with everyday Canadians saying we won't be pushed around.

Same. Stopped all contact with my family in my 40's, never looked back.

Sexual, physical, emotional, psychological abuse. Nothing I ever did was good enough. Found my mom's obit a few years after the fact. My only reaction was 'finally, she's at peace'.

I'm healthier without them.

I call about an issue with wifi calling (no usable cell service where we live). TEN minutes into the conversation, the CSR asks if we have internet service where we live. I've been talking about wifi and our home network for the past 10 minutes, and he's asking this????🙄

I fight age-ism whenever I see it. I hate it when it's assumed my wrinkles and grey-white hair lead them to assume I'm an idiot with respect to technology. Speaking with my telecom's first-level customer service, it's clear I know *more* than they do about certain aspects of it.

I am not in favour of *increasing* the amount of tech coming from Chinese companies. China could conceivably cripple democratic nations by weaponizing the data and back doors to which they already have access.

IMO there is no reason to believe they wouldn't do such a thing. Just look south to what is happening.

I can only hope that non-Chinese companies that use China-manufactured tech in their devices test for such back-doors. And, when I accept *their* Terms and Conditions, Western laws apply.

ALL Chinese companies MUST allow their government full access to ALL the data they collect. Technology coming from China is known to have included 'back doors' to allow unfettered access to devices. Any Chinese app you install, read the 'Terms and Conditions'. /2
