Last night while we were almost out of candy, one child looked at the crowd behind her, then put a bunch of her stash in our bowl because she wanted to make sure everyone got some candy.

Trump is awful.

Biden drilled, pumped, and deported more than Trump. He COVID-killed three times as many Americans and then broke a union strike.

If Democrats wanted votes they would offer good policies and good candidates.

Sadly, all they want is to scam a few billion from seniors every cycle.

Usually I end up chopping the tops off for compost and leaving the roots in the soil but if a bed happens to produce edible beans or even young edible pods I'll take them.

The majority of November days in Tacoma are gloomy or rainy but some of them are glorious like today.

A lawn with a large dark green pine tree and yellow-leaved sycamore and cherry trees in the distance. Also in the distance is a white gate which we love which was part of a fence which we removed. In the foreground are our veggie beds, including cattle panel arches with happy tomatoes, struggling summer squash, and the last of the runner beans now readying seed for next year.

Meanwhile fava bean cover crop on some of the beds is a couple inches tall and getting into its stride.
