You'd think its crazy how some "ppl of the 40k" universe think about machines, praying for the machine-god etc and think that wouldn't be possible
But try to talk with SOME car fanatics about replacing the engine with electric drive...

Promptober Day 10 - Moon

How about a random table about weird, magic-influencing, lunar events? Roll, choose, or incorporate them in your favorite setting and voilà! Instant chaos!

RANDOM TABLE: WEIRD, MAGIC INFLUENCING, LUNAR EVENTS

ROLL D10 OR CHOOSE ONE

Every healing spell causes pain equal to the life it restores.
All casters see their own duplicate in moonlight and sometimes, it casts faster.
Spoken spells fail; only gestures or written runes work tonight.
Illusions becomes sentient and start whispering to their creators.
Any summoning spell calls something extra: small, curious, and hungry.
All transformation spells invert their effect.
Emotions surge uncontrollably; all charm or fear effects double in potency.
Moonlight solidifies into droplets that power any spell but drain years of life.
Spells still cast, but their effects manifest one night later.
Magic briefly dies; when it returns, one random spell has evolved in some ways.

GM HOOKS

The moon’s cycle could replace normal magic limits.
A coven or order might time rituals to these phenomena.
A lunar calendar found in a ruin could predict incoming lunar events

NOTE

You can skip the die roll or the choose one part and use these effect to fit certain moon phases in your setting of choice!

Some people think they can get a classical oil painting for their grandma's birthday, for street artist caricature prices and its tiring a bit.
Ai is their answer. Oh and then they dont want to pay for the print either ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Now some helmets were quite close, but even "high-grade" armour was more often than not, asymetrical. In case of visored helmets, it has a practical reason, as keeping the visor up is often (if not always) solved by deliberately making it cammed to one side so it flexes and gets stuck when opened

Many ppl interested in medieval history or fantasy have no idea about this, but real medieval arms&armour
was
not
perfect
They didnt have the same tech as we, and it wasnt a real concern to be perfect and SYMETRICAL. Look at these.

Zoomed out version of the entire area. More than 10000km in length on each side, using actual measurement. Showsn is the work in progress, detailed area shown in the close-up image. And the massive, endless cyclones that provide the temperature, climate, and weather for the world. The core region is in an area with an average temperature of about 14°C to 25°C.

As someone with a history teacher degree:
No. Average Hungarian has no idea.
Its basically this: 7 tribes came to the Carpathians, kicked everyones butts for a while, then Stephen I, ARANYBULLA, King Matthias, ottomans, Habsburgs, something with WW1-2, 😭Trianon, russkies and iron curtain
