I see liberals are still struggling with "socialism vs barbarism" cause the DNC is still a capitalist party. Republicans and Democrats are both corporate fascists, their differences arise in for which corporations they go to work.

I read nearly 60 books this year! I'm not that kind of reader and have never had a streak like this. Ursula K Le Guin gets a lot of credit; I read all of Earthsea and the Hainish stuff. Stephen King was about half of it, including my first reread of the Dark Tower series.
