I often listen or read books from authors I don't agree with. You must know their point of view to argue your own.

America was always headed towards fascism if you consider the one-party rule theory of the last decade and a half. The idea of a citizen wiping their hands of involvement with "bothsidesism" and blaming Democrats for their problem, no matter the administration, was just the start.

I mostly enjoy the work The Guardian does. This kind of stuff? Not so much.

"On Reddit, users shared links to a LimeWire torrent, prompting chuckles from people surprised to see the peer-to-peer service best known for infecting parents’ computers with viruses in the 2000s suddenly revived in 2025 to skirt feared US government censorship."

I delve down into an interesting @businessinsider.com article about a CEO who took time to call all 600 of his employees. It's an extreme case, but teaches a great lesson about corporate feedback strategies.

Keep this in mind the next time someone or the media refers to Vance as a 'moderate' or a 'centrist'.
JD VANCE THINKS BRITAIN & FRANCE ARE AMERICAS LIKELY ENEMIES.
The world is getting bizarrely screwed with this kind of bull being spewed out.

Something something loneliness epidemic.
Something I find really frustrating about extremely popular media people “just asking questions” or whatever is that sometimes they’re helping speak things into existence. Not this specific scenario necessarily, but it really does lay the groundwork for bad outcomes by normalizing it.
Joe Rogan and Shane Gillis on Nick Fuentes running for president one day.

Rogan: “He could probably win in a few years. Listen, he couldn’t have existed before, right? Ten, twenty years ago, couldn’t have existed. Now, super popular. What’s twenty years from now look like?”

I think I'm finally going to cave on and start watching Stranger Things soon. It can't be so bad, right? I'm very picky about what I watch, as I have a high bar.

Only our dictator can make the world sympathize with Venezuela's dictator. None of this is right nor normal.
Q: What are you going to do with the oil seized from Venezuela?

I honestly don't know how any reporter or journalist can cover Trump seriously, or with a straight face -- but here we are.

I've put a ton of effort into weight loss and exercise this year — to the point of burnout. I only hope that I've made myself healthier by dropping the 'obese' classification.

Honestly, @leolaporte.me at @twit.tv was early in expanding this medium. He originally chose the word "netcast" to describe such a platform.

It’s finally time to retire the word ‘podcast’
“Podcast” is becoming an outdated relic

Guards began beating him. Beat him until he bled. Knocked his face into the wall, broke all his teeth. No access to outdoors, no contact with relatives.
