Trump is calling for an end to a program that helps residents pay their utility bills. At the same time, Ameren Mo just won approval to raise gas rates, adding around $13 to the average customer’s monthly bills. And Gov. Kehoe has signed legislation projected to add $1,100 per year to utility bills.
