Too true, but they’re not cutting 1800 keys an hour. Probably not the key cutter getting most of the money, either. Hubs was a locksmith with decades of experience and made $10.50 an hr.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I did the same when I was young, as did my brothers. One younger kid didn’t and wore heavy coats/scarves and earned a nasty nickname for it that persisted through HS.
