Ok I give up on ‘Centrist’. I have my own definition but people see it as defending the status quo and compromising towards the right. Progressive policies focused on workers have the best chance of expanding our anti-oligarch and antifascist coalition.

Yes the CO2 rise 2023-2024 was faster than we predicted at Mauna Loa and was a record rise there - now the WMO confirm the global mean rise was also a record

Also the rate of CO2 rise is now above the IPCC scenarios that limit global warming to 1.5C

Sweet. Both here and in CA and Portland this could be a great way to defend local and state authority and inhibit the worst of the proud boys in ice costumes. Also an item that could escalate fast if there’s an incident.

Homelessness is unnecessary and counterproductive. We can build new affordable housing but there's plenty of housing sitting empty. Govts should build public housing until rents are about half, unless owners and landlords end the artificial scarcity.
