The Saudi Crown Prince had Khashoggi dismembered in the Saudi embassy in Istanbul.

Not to mention Jared Kushner using the Saudi led blockade of Qatar to get Qatar to effectively buy his failed 5th Ave tower… weeks before the $1.6 Billion loan was due on it.
After Jared paid $0 in principal on it and would have gone bankrupt had he been liable for it.

It IS possible to bow out gracefully. Not trying to make a joke or be mean/agist/disrespectful. But, seriously, you could step down & enjoy the rest of your life. God knows I would if I were in your shoes. I know power is addictive but hanging on to it is also damaging.

As I dropped off the 17yo at school this morning, about a dozen+ teachers were outside the entrance, each holding a sign welcoming the kids in a different language. A really lovely gesture to end a week when ICE has been skulking around the neighborhood.
