Lol youre missing out. Not because its any good but to witness a genuine trainwreck. Its pretty faithfull to the original story for the first half then severely derails.

Have you seen the US remake? Its the closest thing to that episode of the Simpsons where Lisa and Bart discover the alternate ending to Casablanca, or the movie within a movie in The Player.

It does seem to be an incel/misogynist thing to do so I suspected its a guy thing. Nothing against Dudley Moore (the film is quite funny), I just think its weird so many guys using this scoring system whose origins lie in a film where a guy suffers a mid-life crisis & chases a younger woman.

Loved this. The BTS of a late night show, which itself feels like a proto Kimmel/Colbert, the little details & what happens on the show harkening back to the excellent Ghostwatch. The detail of the secret lodge meetings in the forest: there're rumours JFK attended one prior to his pres campaign...

A couple of years back I interviewed film-maker Karlee Boon, while she was crowdfunding her #shortfilm, NIGHT SHIFT. Not only did she manage to raise the funds to make it, she smashed it.

#w PLAY DIRTY - Shane Black makes a decent Parker movie, delivering brutality, quips & cool lines ("Nobody tells me where I can walk") and a twisted sense of honour & ethics. A pity some of the large set-pieces have dodgy (and dark) CGI but they are just a small distraction.

I remember drinking w a close friend & we were witnessing a workmate being a shitty boyfriend; my bud turning to me with:

"If I tried this shit with (gf), I'd get stabbed!"

and it amazes me that there aren't more dudes out there with knife wounds.

a. Do women use this when describing men?
b. Do the guys realise its origins in pop culture are in the film "10", starring Dudley Moore (not a 10) lusting after Bo Derek?

I enjoy this one. The cast is great, for a start and it has a really good backstory which they are have stumbled into. A pity we didn't get more of the epilogue.
