There was me imaging a sequel where Harold's turned his mother's house into a hippie inspired squat that's lasted 40 years and he saves a young soul similar to how Maude saved him.

And there's a room in the house where he's kept all of her art.

Oh well.

RIP Bud.

Whilst not wishing to minimize the very justified fear that trans communities must feel at the prospect of a Streeting government, I think there is a chance that a transphobic state crusade led by an intrinsically loathesome creature could rally public support for trans rights like never before.

This era of UK politics has basically been a school election where the teachers encourage the children to vote for their pets who get gold stars by grassing everyone and reminding them that homework is due to be class reps and can't understand why the children don't love them as much as they do.

Abolish the House of Lords.
BREAKING: Lord Mandelson is to step down from the House of Lords immediately.

But he will keep his title as a peerage is bestowed for life - unless government changes the law.

It's almost as if transphobes accuse trans people of being a threat to the safety of women and children to cover for themselves not caring about (or being) actual threats to women and children's safety.
JK Rowling's team invited Jeffery Epstein to the deathly hallows play and to a Harry potter dinner.

• Your friendly reminder that Lord Mandelson is still a member of the Parliamentary Labour Party and retains the Labour Whip.

• Worth reflecting on all the MPs who lost the Labour Whip are were suspended from the Parliamentary Labour Party for voting against the 2 Child Cap.

Strike for longer than a day. See how the reich likes whole weeks of people standing up to them.
Repeat the general strike next Friday.

So, do we all get now that the American right to "bear arms" was always *for* the oppressors and never to rebel against the US government? Is that clear yet? I thought it would have been clear when the Black Panthers did it...

The right wing numpties are crying "this is Censorship!" over Grok.

Our reply should be: "Yes. Exactly. It's Censorship. Of Child Sexual Material. Censorship of CSM is a very good thing."

The media needs to take these free speech absolutists to task on the material limits of their beliefs.

Delete your Spotify account.
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

Read it again: 88% of songs on Spotify have been demonetized.

One month exclusive window should be the bare minimum.

Then PVOD release on Netflix for a second month - with the majority of the revenue going to filmmakers - and a continued cinema run.

And available for streaming after three months, with cinema runs continuing or ending depending on popularity.
Netflix reportedly only wants to keep movies in theaters for 17 days after they buy Warner Bros

What a great day for Vladimir Putin! I can picture him in the Kremlin, watching the EU & the UK play dumb while Trump trashes Int. Law, their media reporting Maduro's abduction as an 'arrest'. I bet he's thinking: Should I also detain Zelensky and subject him to Russian justice?
