I keep banging my drum about this re: 28 Years Later and no one really believes me. (I only know one person in real life who's given it a shot!) it's so moving, so weird, so compassionate toward its "zombies," which the film uses to explore the way we treat the ill + how we grapple with death
Not what I expected for a zombie movie.

Very deep.

I'm insanely excited for this but it doesn't seem to have a planned release in the UK yet...
I had a great time with Steven (PSYCHO GOREMAN) Kostanski's reimagining of DEATHSTALKER, an absurdly awesome practical effects fantasia and excellent starring vehicle for Daniel Bernhardt (seen here with swamp monster friend).

Modern film discourse seems to have forgotten that cinema existed before 1990.

Instead of watching shitty action movies by a rapist, just put on a Johnnie To flick! Hong Kong's action films are some of the best. Action films from Hong Kong, Korea, China and Japan are all superior. Johnnie To is just my #1 of any director in the action genre.
Brett Rattner's rush hour just got distribution so I think it's gonna be a bad 3 years for movies (at least in amerikkka)

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.
