As an update, I can open the DMs in my office in Detroit, which is literally an hour north of my home.

I could drive 20 minutes from home and be in Michigan, where I can read my DMs without giving sketchy third parties access to my ID.

I'm a grown-ass woman, 39 years old, and I'm being prevented from accessing my DMs because the @bsky.app folks are cowards who capitulated in advance to the assholes in Columbus who shoehorned a "pRoTeCt ThE cHiLdReN!" addendum into the fucking budget.

I do be hating it here.

I can't stand Jimmy Kimmel, generally, but the fact that the FCC and the POTUS forced a talk show off the air for pointing out that it wasn't a leftist who unalived CK? Nope.
