Supporter of GB Athletics, Luton Town FC, Bedford Blues RFC, GF38, Sporting KC, St Louis Cardinals, British Cycling and decent beer (amongst other things).
Really disappointing film.
Still marginally better than "On Her Majesty's Rail Replacement Bus Service", so I'll be thankful for small mercies.

Spotted in my local shop window. I guess even nazis need party supplies 🤷‍♂️

A short clip of the Don Bosco brass band from Bamberg, playing at the Bedford-Bamberg beer festival yesterday.
Not the largest selection of beers (and only 1 from Bamberg itself!) but well worth the visit.

Uncanny.

Hardly worth him unpacking. They'll be announcing his replacement in a couple of months.

Today, I have mainly been watching Bedford Blues Women away at Peterborough Ladies, and The Workshop Boys at Esquires.
Several beers may have been harmed in the making of this post.
@bedfordesquires.bsky.social (@netjester63.bsky.social will have better photos of the rugby)

A couple of pictures from the Brickies beer festival yesterday, including the presentation of the South Bedfordshire pub of the year award from CAMRA, and 2 of the Luton Ukimaniacs (the full band played later in the day).
18 cask ales, various ciders, bottled beers. Great festival, worth a visit.

This was the partial solar eclipse earlier today, which I managed to capture without any expensive equipment.
More by luck than judgement mind you 🤣.

The plan for today was to watch the rugby game between Peterborough Ladies v Bedford Blues Women, but it was called off an hour before kick-off.
I therefore seized the opportunity to have a couple of Belgian (and 1 Dutch) beer in "Bottle & Board".
Just finishing off with this...

Leftover Christmas dinner with added cold meat and smoked salmon - RACLETTE - a taste sensation! Highly recommended.

7 years and 1 day ago, Ollie Lee scored from his own half against Cambridge Utd. At the same time, the England Cricket Team were getting ready to play Australia, and there had been some social media sledging from the Aussies. Here's Alastair Cook's take on it.

No game for Luton this weekend, so I will mostly be trying to follow GF38 in the French Cup.

Pas de match pour Luton ce week-end, donc je vais surtout essayer de regarder GF38 en Coupe de France.

At a gig in London. 1st support act about to start. 3 of us in the audience!
If I was a hipster, I'd probably be loving how niche my taste in bands seems to be.
In reality, I'm just sad for the support act having no crowd ☹️.
