The post-coach-departure “he sucks” gossip stories need to be studied in a lab.
When I was in school we had one about Derek Dooley being weirdly anti-Chick-Fil-A and pro Wendy’s. Butch jones apparently punched a kid in the stomach. There’s so many of them lmao.

Idk if it’s really bad timing, a genuine feature of post transition life, or even just heightened paranoia, but I feel like the level of backbiting, gossip, and passive-aggressive bullying I experience increased 300% after I transitioned. And I’ve grown into lots of stuff but that still bothers me.

You can say a lot of things about Lane Kiffin and how he's handled this coaching search, but he's never once (to my knowledge) gone in front of a microphone and lied to people's faces about still being the Ole Miss head coach. Would that kind of Nick Saban-type move be preferable? Idk.

I’m fascinated with the ways fans rationalize hating on the underdog.
My chosen reason to hate Vanderbilt? Class reasons (rich kid school, frat boys, clay travis is from there) plus good old fashioned tribalism (Nashville is overrun with racist Yankee carpetbaggers).
