Bad loss for the Eagles, though I try not to overreact to division losses on TNF.

You’d like to say it’s a wake-up call, though they just had one of those 5 days ago. Clearly a lot to fix.

Anyway, no one’s gonna feel sorry for Philly fans.

Few things in sports are more brutal than the sudden end of a mostly good baseball season. That one hurts, even with a few days to mentally prepare.

But I enjoyed the hell out of this Phillies run the past four years. Big changes probably coming. Thanks for the memories.

I know I also complain about all the NFL’s new domes because I like weather being part of football.

Is that me being inconsistent? Honestly not sure. But the sports feel very different and the MLB shadows feel very avoidable if not for prioritizing TV windows.

It always feels ridiculous that MLB will let the whole season come down to these pressure-packed single games with horrible shadows across the infield that become the story of the game.

Wanna make sure I say this before either team scores, because it’s true whoever wins.
