A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

This. Democracy is not a spectator sport.
Trump will do all he can to “fix” the 2026 and 2028 elections to secure MAGA victories by every method he can muster, however blatantly illegal and unconstitutional, whatever the courts might say. If every eligible voter shows up, we can overwhelm his schemes.

I worked for Social Security for 27 years. SHE WOULD FUCKING CALL! THEY ALL CALL! Fucking dumb piece of shit. I suggest he work in an SSA field office or a teleservice center the first week of any month.
