“Kind, good, happy, gentlemanly, secure people never go Nazi….But the frustrated and humiliated intellectual, the rich and scared speculator, the spoiled son, the labor tyrant, the fellow who has achieved success by smelling out the wind of success—they would all go Nazi in a crisis.” — D. Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino marches through Minneapolis surrounded by federal agents, shouting at American citizens.

This isn’t about deporting “the worst of the worst.” It’s about deliberately sowing fear and chaos in cities that oppose the Trump regime

Imagine being this bad of a person.

Granted, it’s probably a requirement for being married to Stephen Miller, but what a shit-tier human being you have to be in order to say something like this.

We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.

The Department of Justice has sued 24 states and the District of Columbia for access to sensitive voter data on more than 100,000,000 Americans.

My law firm has intervened on behalf of voters to fight DOJ in 23 of the 25 cases. Tomorrow we will do the same in the remaining two. Stay tuned.

FOLKS IN MINNEAPOLIS:

SAVE all videos & photos from today. They will be valuable to prove the ICE agent --- who had time to move & re-position himself to the side of the victim's car to shoot into the driver's side window --- was not in reasonable fear of imminent serious physical injury or death.

It's 25 degrees outside.

Organizers are leading the crowd in a chant of, "no boots on the ground, no bombs in the air!"

Two protesters hold a large banner reading, "no war for Venezuela oil."

This was my approach when trying to get oral interviews with segregationists for my first book.

“I’m writing about you and I’d love to get your input, but I’m writing about you either way.”
You do everything in your power to get every relevant voice in a story. But as one of my former colleagues told a local official who thought his silence would kill a piece: “I’d like to have you. But the story is being written with or without you.”
Reporter: We have 3 videos, 2 breathalyzers, 4 bartenders, and a minivan full of nuns attesting to how the driver was drunk and reckless when he hit the school bus.

Weiss; What did the driver say.

Reporter: He and his lawyer won’t talk. We asked them 5 times.

Weiss: I’m killing your story.

This is Bari Weiss in stonewalling, chin-out, "I won't let the haters get to me" mode. Whether she gets away with it will be determined by whether Sharyn Alfonsi's colleagues at 60 Minutes and CBS News decide to fight back. Pelley, Stahl, Cooper--this decision goes on everyone's permanent record.
