When our starting pay is this low and our scheduled hours don’t qualify us for benefits, the numbers just don’t add up. Starbucks has a higher CEO-to-worker pay gap than ANY business in the S&P 500. It would cost them less than a single day’s sales to finalize a fair contract!

Just got a couple of whistles from a passing-by Siembra NC volunteer. Their phone number is on them. If you see any agents, you blow 3 short bursts. If you see someone taken, one long whistle and then if possible, call in or text in to report it. They have an app with a map that is tracking these.

I’d call the general vibe at Durham's No King's rally today “Food Co-op lawn casual” with lots of people of a certain age, lots of toddlers, several great costumes, and everyone in good spirits having a good time. The drummers, saxophonist, and flugelhorn players were extra 🔥🎉🏆 during the marching.
