I relate to so much of it… what I still struggle with is the “virtues” that were hammered into me as a child have completely disappeared from the message today. J. Fuselsang’s new book has an excellent breakdown of all of it. Ironically today, Jesus would be a Dem.

She’s convinced that a lifetime of “accepting an ordained leader” (read pastor) without question has essentially atrophied that part of themselves. I grew up in the church and don’t disagree.
