I think that was the whole point of the New Zealand story. If there’s no subsidy, farms will be forced to up their productivity, and politicians will be forced to sign more trade deals.
Otherwise, the expensive broken wheel keeps turning indefinitely with money that could’ve been spent elsewhere.

The United States and Iran held talks in Oman focused on Iran’s nuclear program. The sides did not reach any agreements and agreed to continue discussions. A follow up meeting between the delegations is expected to take place soon. #Iran
