I think the thing that offends me the most about splatoon 3's patches is that the developers keep attacking degenerate playstyles that only exist because of their own failures.

(I give this an hour before I realize I made a mistake)
Anyway I think that it's one of the better balance updates without the context of the greater changes but those greater changes will be what makes or breaks this patch and I don't think we'll immediately be able to tell their significance.
