I signed up for a self-paced summer graduate seminar on political sociology, forgot, went on a road trip, got an email reminder the final was due the next day, wrote a 20 page paper on Bowling Alone because it was the only book on the reading list at the Lorain, OH public library.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.
