La prima immagine (satellite) mostra quella che sembra una cascata di nubi frastagliate in Atlantico.
Non si tratta soltanto di aria fredda che si riversa, all’interno di una saccatura, in oceano, ma di un grande trasferimento di vorticità positiva (ciclonica). 1/5

Worked until late yesterday, but the weather prediction announced clear, so I decided to set up the gear in advance so I could take some pictures while I worked. So I got the double cluster NGC869, near Cassiopeia, and Bode's galaxy. Not too bad for a harmonic cat and a 60mm small scope.

This was shot on the EdgeHD 8 with Hyperstar for a total integration time of about 5.5 hours using an OSC cam with just the UV/IR-Cut filter.
